TAP Portugal joined World Aviation Systems in December 1997 and is represented throughout Australia.

TAP check-in online is available for departures from Continental Portugal, Madeira, The Azores, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels Amsterdam, London, Rome, Milan, Venice, Bologna, Oslo, Luanda, Stockholm & Copenhagen to the entire TAP network (except for the USA). Check-in online can be made from between 24 hours in advance and 90 minutes (five hours in Luanda) prior to flight departure, for passengers with an electronic ticket and a confirmed reservation on flights operated by TAP.
Passengers with stowed luggage who have used check-in online should proceed to the respective ticket boarding desk within the time limit for baggage drop-off (information provided when processing their check-in online and shown on the respective boarding card). Check-in online is available on the http://www.flytap.com/ with immediate boarding card printout.
Additionally, TAP also offers passengers with confirmed flights and no luggage TAP Tele check-in; available 24hrs before flights to Schengen (45 mins before boarding) & Non Schengen Destinations, Africa, Brazil & Venezuela (60 mins before boarding) & to the USA (2 hours before boarding).
